AWANA is a new program here at Crosswinds that provides a unique blend of activities your children are sure to enjoy. Your children will have the opportunity to play age appropriate games with thier piers, work in scriptually based handbooks and earn awards for their efforts. Children are given awards based on their progress in the AWANA handbooks. Children who are actively completing their handbooks will memorize upwards of 150 scriptures throughout their time in AWANA and also be encouraged to participate in missional and evangelical activities.
The Cubbies Program is for Children age 2-3. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
The Sparks program is for children age 4-2nd grade. Sparks club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for churched and unchurched kids alike!
The Truth and Training is for children 3rd - 6th grade. The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third through sixth grade boys and girls the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
An informative class explaining the origin of the universe and how all things came to be from a Creationist point of view.
Each week children learn a new bible lesson that helps to illustrate the Christian lifestyle. This fun zone is designed to teach the word to our children in an exciting way!
